1. General Provisions

1.1 Provider

Services under the Walkie Talkie brand are provided by:

Gleb Berežný
Company ID: 03379736
Registered address: Evropská 612/79, 160 00 Prague 6, Czech Republic
Email: info@walkie-talkie.tours

referred to below as the "Provider" or "Walkie Talkie".

The person making the booking is referred to as the "Booker". Persons for whom the service is booked are referred to as "Participants".

1.2 Scope of Services

Walkie Talkie organises single-day group and private trips from Prague to destinations throughout the Czech Republic.

Depending on the particular trip, the service may include:

  • transportation;
  • guiding services;
  • visits to cultural or natural attractions;
  • admission tickets;
  • small refreshments;
  • other services expressly stated in the description of the particular trip.

1.3 Single-Day Trips Without Overnight Accommodation Only

These Terms apply exclusively to single-day services lasting less than 24 hours and not including overnight accommodation.

Walkie Talkie does not provide multi-day package trips or services including overnight accommodation under these Terms.

1.4 Your Specific Booking

Each booking is governed by:

  • the description of the selected trip applicable at the time of booking;
  • the services expressly stated as included and excluded;
  • the final price displayed before the booking is completed;
  • the booking confirmation; and
  • these Terms.

Where specific terms of a particular trip or individual offer differ from these Terms, the specifically agreed terms shall prevail.

2. Bookings

2.1 How to Book

Bookings may be made through:

  • walkie-talkie.tours;
  • an authorised third-party booking platform;
  • email; or
  • another individually agreed written method.

2.2 Booking Confirmation

A booking becomes binding when the Booker receives a booking confirmation following successful payment or agreement of another accepted method of payment.

Submission of a booking form alone does not guarantee availability.

Where payment has already been made but the booking cannot be confirmed due to technical, capacity-related or other objective reasons, the amount received will be refunded in full.

2.3 Accuracy of Information

The Booker is responsible for providing accurate information, particularly:

  • names and contact details;
  • number of Participants;
  • children's ages and other requested information;
  • pickup location;
  • allergies and other relevant requirements.

A Booker making a reservation on behalf of other Participants must ensure that those Participants receive the information reasonably necessary to participate in the trip.

2.4 Third-Party Platforms

Where a booking is made through GetYourGuide, Viator, Airbnb or another third-party platform, that platform's rules may apply to payments, booking amendments and cancellations.

For these matters, the conditions presented to the customer when booking through the relevant platform shall prevail.

These Terms continue to govern the actual provision of the service, safety, Participant conduct and other operational matters.

3. Prices and Payment

3.1 Final Price

The applicable price is displayed before the booking is completed.

Prices may vary depending on the particular trip, date, number of Participants, season, service type or other relevant parameters.

The confirmed price will not be unilaterally increased by the Provider after confirmation.

3.2 What's Included

Each trip contains a specific description of services included and excluded from the price.

Admission fees, food, drinks and other third-party services are included only where expressly stated for the relevant trip.

3.3 Obvious Pricing Errors

Where an obviously incorrect price is displayed due to a clear technical or administrative error, Walkie Talkie may propose a correction.

If payment has already been made and the Booker does not accept the corrected price, the amount paid will be refunded in full.

3.4 Payments

Online payments may be processed by an independent payment service provider.

Currency conversion, foreign transaction or other charges imposed by the customer's bank or card issuer are not part of the Walkie Talkie service price.

4. Cancellation by the Customer

We aim to keep our cancellation policy simple and customer-friendly.

4.1 Standard Cancellation Policy

For cancellations made:

more than 48 hours before the scheduled start
100% refund;

between 24 and 48 hours before the scheduled start
75% refund;

less than 24 hours before the scheduled start
no refund.

No refund is available in the event of a no-show.

The relevant cancellation time is the time at which Walkie Talkie receives the cancellation request.

4.2 Free Date Change

If the Booker contacts us at least 24 hours before the scheduled start, we will be happy to try to move the booking to another available date free of charge.

A change is possible only where sufficient capacity exists on the requested replacement date.

A change of date is not automatically guaranteed.

4.3 Exceptional Circumstances

In the event of a serious and unforeseen personal situation, we may offer a date change, voucher or another individual solution depending on the circumstances.

Each request is considered individually.

4.4 No General 14-Day Withdrawal Right

The service is a leisure service supplied on a specific agreed date.

The general 14-day statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract without giving a reason therefore does not apply to the booking.

Customers are also informed of this fact before completing the booking.

4.5 Refund Processing

Where a refund is due, Walkie Talkie will initiate it without undue delay.

The actual time required for funds to reach the customer also depends on the bank and payment service provider used.

5. Minimum Group Size

5.1 Minimum Number of Participants

A standard public group trip requires at least 3 paying Participants, unless otherwise expressly stated for the particular trip.

No minimum number applies to private trips.

5.2 Minimum Not Reached

If the minimum number of Participants is not reached, Walkie Talkie may cancel the trip.

Affected customers will normally be informed no later than 24 hours before the scheduled start.

Where a booking is made less than 24 hours before departure, the customer will be informed as soon as reasonably possible.

Depending on availability, we may offer:

  • another date;
  • another available trip;
  • another individually agreed solution; or
  • a 100% refund.

6. Changes or Cancellation by Walkie Talkie

6.1 Operational and Safety Reasons

Walkie Talkie may reasonably modify or cancel a trip due to circumstances including:

  • vehicle breakdown;
  • sudden unavailability of a driver or guide;
  • unsafe weather conditions;
  • flooding, fire or other natural events;
  • road closures;
  • closure or restricted access to a destination;
  • exceptional traffic or safety conditions;
  • other serious circumstances that cannot reasonably be overcome.

6.2 Cancellation by Us

If Walkie Talkie cancels a trip and no suitable alternative is agreed with the customer, the price of the cancelled service will be refunded in full.

6.3 Itinerary Changes

The order of stops, specific route, duration of individual stops or schedule may reasonably be adjusted due to traffic, weather, attraction operations, safety or other current circumstances.

Such a change does not automatically create a right to a refund unless it materially reduces the nature or value of the booked service.

7. Pickup and Return

7.1 Pickup in Prague 1

For standard group trips, we offer pickup from hotels and other accommodation in Prague 1, provided that the location can be safely and legally accessed by our vehicle.

Where stopping directly outside the accommodation is not possible, we will designate the nearest suitable pickup point.

7.2 Other Parts of Prague

For guests staying outside Prague 1, the standard meeting point is Nádraží Veleslavín, unless otherwise stated for a particular trip.

However, we encourage guests to contact us in advance.

If the route, timing and needs of other guests allow it, we will do our best to pick you up directly from your hotel or accommodation even if you are staying outside Prague 1.

Pickup outside Prague 1 is not guaranteed until expressly confirmed by Walkie Talkie.

Pickup arrangements for private trips may be agreed individually.

7.3 Exact Pickup Time

The exact pickup time may be adjusted before the trip depending on the route and the pickup locations of individual guests.

The Booker must monitor the email address and other contact information provided when booking.

8. Late Arrival

Participants must be ready at the confirmed pickup point at the agreed time.

We can normally wait for a late Participant for up to 10 minutes.

If you know in advance that you may be delayed, please contact us as soon as possible.

We will try to deal with the situation individually and, where possible, wait longer, but we must also take into account the needs of other Participants and the trip schedule.

If further waiting is not reasonably possible and the Participant misses departure, this will be treated as a no-show and no refund will be due.

9. Children

Children are welcome on our trips.

When booking for a child, the Booker must provide the child's:

  • age;
  • height; and
  • approximate weight if requested.

We need this information to arrange safe and lawful transportation and, where required, the appropriate child restraint system.

If the required information is not provided in advance and the child therefore cannot be transported safely or lawfully, Walkie Talkie may refuse participation.

Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing in advance.

The accompanying adult remains responsible for ordinary supervision of the child.

10. Health and Mobility

Some trips may involve extended walking, stairs, hills, uneven surfaces or time outdoors.

The general level of physical activity is stated in the description of the relevant trip.

Participants with reduced mobility, medical limitations or other particular requirements are encouraged to contact us before booking.

We will make reasonable efforts to find an appropriate solution but cannot guarantee accessibility at all historic buildings, natural sites or other third-party locations.

11. Animals

For the comfort of other guests, limited vehicle space and possible allergies, pets are not permitted on standard group trips.

Pets may be accepted on a private trip by prior individual agreement.

This restriction does not apply to assistance dogs where their access is protected by applicable law. For practical planning purposes, we appreciate advance notice where possible.

12. Conduct During the Trip

Participants must:

  • behave respectfully;
  • follow reasonable instructions given by the driver and guide;
  • comply with safety requirements;
  • respect the rules of visited locations;
  • refrain from conduct that may endanger people or property.

Smoking and vaping are prohibited inside the vehicle.

Walkie Talkie may refuse or terminate participation where a person, in particular:

  • behaves aggressively or dangerously;
  • seriously disturbs other guests;
  • is visibly intoxicated or under the influence of drugs;
  • intentionally damages property;
  • repeatedly ignores safety instructions;
  • engages in unlawful conduct.

Where participation is terminated because of the Participant's conduct, no refund is due and onward transportation is at the Participant's own expense.

13. Damage and Extraordinary Vehicle Cleaning

Participants are responsible for damage they intentionally or negligently cause to the vehicle or other property.

Where a Participant causes extraordinary soiling requiring additional or professional cleaning, Walkie Talkie may recover reasonable costs associated with restoring the vehicle.

The minimum charge for extraordinary cleaning is CZK 500 / EUR 20.

Where the actual and reasonable cleaning or repair costs are higher, Walkie Talkie may recover the actual amount.

At the customer's request, Walkie Talkie may provide reasonable evidence of the nature and amount of the costs charged.

14. Refreshments and Allergies

Some trips may include a small complimentary refreshment or local treat.

The exact contents may vary depending on availability.

The Booker must disclose known serious food allergies or dietary restrictions when booking.

Refreshments may be prepared by an independent supplier in premises where common allergens are handled. The complete absence of traces of allergens therefore cannot be guaranteed.

Where refreshments cannot safely be provided to a particular Participant, they may be omitted or, where reasonably possible, replaced by a suitable alternative.

15. Attractions and Third-Party Services

Opening hours, admission rules and availability of castles, museums, restaurants, natural sites and other third-party services are not always under the direct control of Walkie Talkie.

Where an unexpected restriction occurs, we will reasonably attempt to:

  • adjust the programme;
  • change the order of stops;
  • provide a suitable alternative.

Participants must comply with the rules and instructions of individual third-party operators.

16. Timings and Connecting Travel

Departure, stop and return times may be affected by traffic, weather, queues, road closures or other unforeseen circumstances.

Return times are therefore estimates.

We recommend that Participants do not schedule a flight, long-distance train, coach or another time-critical commitment immediately after the estimated return time without an appropriate safety margin.

17. Luggage and Personal Property

Normal personal belongings may be carried subject to available vehicle capacity.

Large luggage, pushchairs, sports equipment or other bulky items must be disclosed in advance.

Where an item cannot be transported safely, Walkie Talkie may refuse to carry it.

Participants remain responsible for the ordinary supervision of their personal belongings.

Where a lost item is found, we will make reasonable efforts to return it to its owner. Any shipping costs are borne by the owner.

18. Complimentary Amenities

Wi-Fi, device charging, small refreshments and similar comfort features may be offered as complimentary additions to the main service.

Temporary unavailability of such amenities due to technical or operational reasons does not by itself create a right to a refund or discount unless the relevant amenity formed a material and expressly agreed part of the service.

19. Liability

Walkie Talkie is responsible for the proper performance of the agreed service to the extent required by applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any customer right or Provider liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law.

Walkie Talkie is not responsible for loss or damage to the extent that it is caused by:

  • an act or omission of a Participant;
  • failure to follow reasonable safety instructions;
  • circumstances outside Walkie Talkie's reasonable control;
  • an independent third party for whom Walkie Talkie is not legally responsible.

The limitations set out in this section do not apply to death or personal injury caused intentionally or through gross negligence by the Provider, or to any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Participants are encouraged to maintain appropriate travel, health and, where appropriate, accident insurance.

20. Complaints

If a problem occurs during the trip, Participants are encouraged to inform the guide or driver as soon as reasonably possible so that Walkie Talkie has an opportunity to resolve the issue during the service.

Formal complaints may be sent to:

info@walkie-talkie.tours

Please include:

  • the Booker's name;
  • booking reference;
  • date and name of the trip;
  • description of the issue;
  • requested resolution.

Consumer complaints will be handled without undue delay and within the period required by applicable law.

21. Personal Data and Communication

Personal data is processed in accordance with applicable law and the separate Privacy Policy published on our website.

Contact details provided during booking may be used for communications reasonably necessary to provide the trip, including:

  • booking confirmation;
  • pickup time and location confirmation;
  • operational changes;
  • exceptional circumstances.

22. Alternative Dispute Resolution

Where the customer is a consumer and a dispute cannot be resolved directly with Walkie Talkie, the customer may use alternative dispute resolution provided by:

Czech Trade Inspection Authority
(Česká obchodní inspekce)

Central Inspectorate -- ADR Department
Gorazdova 1969/24
120 00 Prague 2
Czech Republic

Website: coi.gov.cz/informace-o-adr/

23. Governing Law

Contractual relationships are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic.

This choice of law does not deprive consumers of mandatory rights granted by applicable law which cannot validly be excluded or limited by contract.

24. Language Versions and Final Provisions

24.1 Applicable Language Version

These Terms may be published in Czech, English, Russian or other languages.

Where different language versions conflict, the version applicable to the individual customer is the language version in which the particular contract was concluded or which was presented to the customer when entering into the contract.

The Czech text constitutes the original version of these Terms and may be used as the basis for interpretation before Czech public authorities and courts, but it shall not be relied upon to the detriment of a consumer who entered into the contract on the basis of another language version.

24.2 Applicable Version of the Terms

The Terms applicable to a booking are those in force at the time the contract is concluded.

Later amendments do not change the terms of an already confirmed booking.

24.3 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, ineffective or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain unaffected.
